Admissions
Student enrollment for Shala is open to all students. The enrollment period typically runs from August 1 through September 30 each year. The school year begins in the first week of September, with in-person classes held every Sunday morning. The academic year concludes at the end of May.
Accreditation
Comprehensive study guidelines, a five-level curriculum, and supporting educational materials have been developed to facilitate progressive learning. The five-level curriculum is approved by Bharati Vidyapeeth. Students who successfully meet the passing requirements of the “Marathi Bhasha” examinations are awarded joint certificates from BMM and Bharati Vidyapeeth for each completed level.
Examination
Students are required to take both interim and final examinations at the completion of each level. The final examinations are typically conducted during the first week of June each year. The assessments consist of both oral and written components. Oral examinations are administered by external examiners, while written examinations are conducted by Shala teachers.
Upon successfully passing the examinations, students will receive a grade certificate and an academic transcript for the completed coursework. A minimum score of 50% in both the oral and written examinations is required to pass.
